About
Our story
Kettle Lane started in 2018 as a conversation between two friends who had grown tired of fast homeware — cheap, disposable, forgettable. We wanted the opposite. Fewer things, chosen carefully, made by people who still care how they turn out.
We started with a single shelf of ceramic mugs at a weekend market. Today we carry around forty pieces across kitchen, home office and decor — all chosen against one simple question: will you still like it in ten years?
How we choose
Every piece earns its place. We buy samples, live with them, take notes, and sometimes send them back with a polite email. Our makers are mostly small studios — potters in Portugal, leather workers in Italy, candlemakers down the road from us. We visit when we can. We pay on time. When something does not meet our standard, we say so and move on.
Our promise
Honest materials, fair prices, and a 30-day return window for any reason or no reason at all. If something fails in normal use, we want to hear about it — no hoops, no receipts to dig up.
